Carol Peterman, 78, peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on December 23, 2018--just in time for a joyous birthday celebration with Jesus!
She was born January 2, 1940, and was the daughter of Gerald and Evelyn (Walters) Walsh, parents whom she cherished with all of her heart.
The world has known few people as sweet or precious as Carol. Carol treated everyone she met with love and went out of her way to spread kindness and encouragement. In addition to being a loving stay-at-home mother, she worked as a school secretary and elementary teacher for East Pennsboro School District, a Special Ed. teacher at Susquehanna HS, and for Goodwill Industries.
Carol was a faithful member of the Camp Hill Church of God and valued her friends in Christ. She had many dear friends, and especially treasured her 1958 Enola High School classmates; Red Hat, ADK, Sherman's Dale Sr. Group, and Trinity book friends; childhood pals, and family.
She is survived by a devoted husband of 57 years, Howard D. of Marysville, PA, daughter, Debby Moore (Chris), and adoring grandchildren, Autumn, Canyon, and Houston Moore of Newport, PA, and step-granddaughter Ashley Moore of Florida. She abundantly supported and blessed her family and particularly enjoyed following her grandchildren’s music.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 4, at the Camp Hill Church of God. 123 N 21st St. Camp Hill. Visitation 10 to 11 am, service 11 am to 12 noon, and meal to follow. Memorial contributions can be made to Camp Hill Church of God or Homeland Hospice.
