Helen K. Savercool, 92 years old, formerly of Millerstown, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019. She was born January 2, 1927 in Juniata County to Ralph and Vera (Rapp) Haubert. She was a registered nurse, having worked at the Harrisburg Hospital and the Director of Nursing  for the former Good Samaritan Home, Liverpool. She was a member of the Millerstown United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. She was an avid Eagles and Penn State Fan.
  Helen was the widow of Ray C. Savercool Jr. and is survived by her sons, Lynn Savercool (Pamela) of Roundrock, TX and Edward Savercool (Kimberly) of Millerstown; daughter, Barbara  Weibley (Les) of Manchester; step daughter in law, Mildred Savercool of Millerstown; brothers, Stanley Haubert of Millerstown and Don Haubert Sr. of Mechanicsburg; sister, Lois  Carlin of Middletown; grandchildren, Chris and Neal Savercool, Tigh and Trent Savercool and Courtney and Jeremy Weibley and  great granddaughter, Zoey Savercool. She was preceded in death by brothers, Frank and James Haubert; sisters, Wilda Reed and Myra Mitchell and step son Ray G. Savercool III.
  Services will be held Thursday at  the Millerstown UMC  with a viewing from 11 AM until the funeral service at 12 PM. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
