David W. Blaine, 68 years old, of Juniata Township, Newport, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015. He was born December 30, 1946 to the late J. Lester and Pearle (Reeder) Blaine. He had worked for Carolina Freight and retired from Penna Dept. of General Services. He attended New Harvest Community Church in Millerstown and was a lifetime member of the Newport Social Order of Owls. He enjoyed wood working, playing bingo and watching his grandchildren play sports.
David is survived by his wife, Barbara Myers Blaine; daughters, Kelly Blaine of Shermans Dale and Kim Wood and husband Rick of Newport; brother, James Blaine of New Cumberland; sister, Dorothy Meyers of Newport and grandchildren, Tanner and Olivia Wood.
Services will be private.
