Rosalie O. Boyer, 76 years old, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 at her home in Wheatfield Township, New Bloomfield. She was born December 15, 1939 in Perry County to Paul and Goldie (Roberts) Owen. Rosalie was retired from the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot and she was a volunteer for local food banks.
Rosalie was the widow of Barry W. Boyer and is survived by her son, Mark W. Boyer of Middleburg; daughter, Nancy L. Boyer of Newport; brothers, Richard Owen of Marysville and Jay Owen of Newville and sisters, Joyce Shuman of Newport, Janet Horvath of Gradners and Winifred Radle of Florida. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas, Carl, Paul Jr., Charles and Gerald Owen.
Services will be held Monday from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a visitation from 12PM until the funeral services at 1 PM. Burial will following in Snyders Cemetery, New Bloomfield.
