Carl Andrews Jr., 75, of Greenwood Township, Millerstown went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 30th at Community General Osteopathic Hospital after an extended illness. Carl was born in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, the son of Carl G. Andrews and Geraldine C. (Sheetz) Andrews. In July, 1963, he married Linda Funk in Bedford Heights, Ohio.
  Surviving are his wife Linda, his son Randall Andrews and wife Ellen of Altoona with grandchildren Joshua, Katie, and Aaron; his son Shawn Andrews and wife Susie of Dillsburg with grandchildren Jacob and Caleb. Also surviving are his sister Cynthia and husband Wayne Parsons, a brother David Andrews and wife Rosie, and nieces and nephews.
  Carl was a Navy veteran, having served from 1959-1965. He was always very mechanically inclined, and worked with his hands in a number of positions over the years including as a diesel mechanic for Roadway Express, a plumber and repairman for Charles H. Burns, and a propane technician for Swenson Fuels.
  Carl was a member of New Harvest Community Church, Millerstown. Over the years, he served as a deacon, treasurer, and in building construction in various churches. In recent years, he enjoyed reading his Bible, listening to Southern Gospel music, and watching documentaries like "How it's Made" on television. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
 Services will be held Saturday at New Harvest Community Church, 527 Maple Street , Millerstown. Friends will be received from 10-11 am. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 am. Entombment will take place at the Wright's Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Old Ferry Road, Millerstown with military honors by the Perry County Military Honor Guard.
