Lucille Cree Davison, 94 years old, of Newport, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at The Manor at Perry Village. She was born February 19, 1922 In Millerstown to Maurice and Mary Viola (Bailor) Cree. She retired from Lady Fingers Specialty Bakers and attended the Newport Assembly of God Church.
Lucille was the widow of Francis J. Davison and is survived by her son, Francis J. Davison of Hershey; son in law, Byron Strayer of Newport; brothers, Myrle Cree and Victor Cree; sister, Mary Evelyn Holley; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jean Strayer; brothers, Maurice, Glenn, Wayne, Jack, David and William Cree and sister, Freida Wilson.
Services will be held Friday from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a viewing from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor Tony Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery.
