Donald N. Good, 87 years old, formerly of Newport and Thompsontown, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Ecumenical Retirement Community, Harrisburg. He was born April 16, 1930 to the late Wilmer and Mary (Nelson) Good. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and retired from the Harrisburg State Hospital. He graduated from the former Thompsontown High School. He was a member of the Korean War Veterans Association and enjoyed reading and working on puzzles.
Don is survived by his wife of 30 years, Geraldine Troutman Good; son, Douglas Good (Rosemary) of Sterling, VA; stepson David Troutman (Tracy) of Harrisburg; stepdaughters, Tina Sellers Wareham (Andrew) of Alaska and Jennifer Sellers Dodge (David) of Etters; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother, Robert L. Good.
Services will be held Thursday, August 10 from the funeral home with a viewing from 11 AM until the funeral services at 12PM. Burial will follow in the Emanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Thompsontown with military honors by the Juniata County Military Honor Guard.
