Jeanette E. Fegley, formerly of Newport, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020.
Jeanette was born in Mahanoy City, PA, daughter of John and Edna (Taylor) Jones. She was the loving wife of the late Elmer W. Fegley, who passed away in 1980.
After high school graduation, Jeanette became a wife, loving mother and enjoyed being a homemaker. Jeanette also enjoyed teaching Sunday School and Bible School.
She liked sewing, needle crafts and reading. While living in Newport, she volunteered delivering "Meals on Wheels" for many years and was a member of theLadies Auxilary.
She is survived by her three daughters, Karen Weber, wife of Harold of Ocala, FL, Lavon Noggle, wife of Michael of Carlisle and Renae Boyer, wife of Eric of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren, Audra (Michael) Macfarlane of Raleigh, NC, Rachel (Michael) Kraus of Fort Mill SC, Philip (Amy) Weber of Moore, OK, Jonathan Weber of Fort Mill, SC and Brandon Fowler of Mechanicsburg; seven great grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, Bryna, Max, Skylar, Emersyn and Eliot; brother, Ivor (Elda) Jones and sister, Avon (Delroy) Wagner. She was preceded in death by brothers, Paul, Joseph, Johnny and James and sisters, Shirley and Lorraine.
 Services will be held Monday from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport, with a viewing from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM. Graveside services will be at 2 PM in the Skyview Memorial Park, Tamaqua, PA.
 The family would like to thank the staff at the Thornwald Home in Carlisle for their loving care of Jeanette. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jeanette's memory to St Jude's Childrens Research Hospital.
