Laurie A McGrady

Laurie A. McGrady, 52 years old, passed away March 11, 2024 at her daughter's home in Middleburg. She was born December 30, 1971 in Columbia, SC. In her younger years she enjoyed driving school bus and dump trucks- she was a hard worker. She enjoyed music, playing the drums, art , mechanical work , being athletic, and spending time outdoors.
Laurie was preceded in death by her husband Rickey McGrady and sister Laurie Bastian. She is survived by her children Tabitha Foust, Anthony Foust, Jola(Curtis) Benner, Levi Doane (companion Elizabeth) and Thomas Fultz; siblings  Gary Michael Shirley, Joseph(Alfhild) Donat, Tiffany(Steven) Hauck, Betty Jo Fox, Tiffany Loftus, Michael Bastian, John Bastian  and Russell "Bear" Bastian Jr. father Russell Bastian grandchildren Kaylee, Laila, Sophia, Cyndi-Loo, Elijah, Keegan, Elesia, Brenna, MaryJane, and Jett- they called her "Mem-Mem" and several nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and "adopted" children and grandchildren and her faithful dog Lovie Mae.

She donated her body for medical research to help further studies for cancer patients. At this time there is no set in stone celebration of life for her just yet, but we will be doing a celebration of life at a later date. 

Our family wouldn't have been able to get through this time and cancer journey without the help of Mark Shoop, Aunt Carol Masden, and Brittany  "Ziggy" Johnson. We send you the biggest sincerest thank you! Your sacrifices did not go unnoticed.
