Zachary L Miller

Zachary L. Miller, 38 years old, passed away Monday, March 18,2024 at his home in Newport. He was born July 29, 1985 to Barry Miller and Patricia Landvater Heisey. Zachary is survived by his children Devin Miller and Madalynn Miller of New Bloomfield, mother Patricia Heisey and step father Brian Heisey Sr. of Hummelstown; father Barry Miller of Newport; half brother Brian Heisey Jr of Hummelstown; half sister Elizabeth Miller of Shamokin and step sister Jennifer Lang of Elizabethtown. He was a member of the New Bloomfield Fire Company and the Hummelstown Fire Company. He enjoyed fishing, sprint car racing and camping. He was a beloved father and friend to all. He would brighten up a room just by walking in with his goofy personality and smile. He could always be seen in a racing t-shirt or a fire company t-shirt. Zach was a man loved by many, he was a friend to all. Whether that meant a shoulder to cry on or you needed a good laugh he was your guy. Zach ran with the New Bloomfield Fire Company from 2012 to present. A Viewing will be held Saturday, March 23 from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport from 11 AM until 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses
