Leon G. Stump Jr. of Newport, passed away Tuesday June 28th in a farming accident. Born Oct. 26th 1989 he is survived by his loving partner and best friend Heather Arnold of Newport with whom he was planning to spend their future together raising their son, Lane Arnold.
He grew up in Lebanon County and farming was his passion from the time he was a child. He was a member of the Lebanon County 4-H Rabbit club and the 4-H goat club. He put his heart into everything he did, loved the outdoors, animals, nature, gardening and most of all driving tractors and working the land and spending time with his family.  
He is survived by his Mother, Ellen Anderson and Sister, Karina Anderson of Palmyra,Pa. His Father Leon Stump, Bethel, Pa. and Grandparents, Lucy and Ivan Hanson and Linda and Edward Stump.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jesse Stump.
Services will be held Wednesday from Zion Methodist Church, 22 E. Main Street, Myerstown, Pa. with a viewing from 12:30 PM until the funeral service at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery.

We were so sorry to hear of Leon Jr's passing. We have good memories of him as a child in Sunday school when he and Jesse visited with their grandparents. It was a struggle when Leon was in class to keep on topic! He was a lively little fella' at that age.
