   Daulton W. "Moe" Serfass Jr., 83 years old, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017. He was born August 2, 1933 to the late Daulton Serfass Sr. and Josephine (Sebring) Mannix. He was retired from Coca Cola  and worked for Hellers Hardware & Rental. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, lifetime member and secretary for 32 years of Newport Social Order of Owls.  Moe was a founding member of the Newport Jaycees, which purchased the first ambulance for Newport. His greatest joy in life was his family. He was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He enjoyed racing, fishing, and was a collector of Coca~Cola memorabilia.
  Moe is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jane (Roberts) Serfass; daughters, Linda Lowe, Barb Korth (Gary), Debbie Campbell (Wayne), Sandi Blair (Tom) and Tracy Kratzer, all of Newport; brother, Richard Serfass of Myrtle Beach, SC; 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son-in-laws, Leroy Kratzer, Dick Lowe, and sister, Shirley Miller.
  Services will be held Sunday, July 16th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church,  320 Market Street, in Newport with a viewing from 1 PM until the funeral service at 2 PM with the Reverend George Martz officiating. Burial will follow at the Newport Cemetery.
 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Newport Ambulance League 50 South Third Street, Newport, PA.17074.
