Dr. Adam T. Williams, 47, of Landisburg, PA, went to be with His Lord on September
10 th , 2024, after a four year long courageous battle with cholangiocarcinoma, a cancer of the liver
bile ducts. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on February 11 th , 1977, in Harrisburg, PA, son of Edward E. “Ted” and
Ronda E. Williams. He is survived by his caring wife of twenty-two years, Shree L. Williams,
his three sons, Noah, Aiden, and Gavin, who all still live at home, his father, Ted (Melinda),
sister Venessa A. Schofield (Frank) from Hershey, PA, brother-in-law Blake E. Stone (Katie)
from Biglerville, PA, and sister-in-law Jill A. Mabe (Ray) from Ridgeway, VA. He was also
deeply loved by many nieces and nephews who enjoyed his kind spirit and sense of humor. He
was preceded in death by his mother Ronda and brother Michael T. Williams.
Growing up, Adam was active in 4-H and served as a volunteer fireman in the New
Bloomfield Fire Company. He was a 1995 graduate of West Perry High School, where he
proudly started as center for the varsity football team, wearing number 74. After attending Word
of Life Bible Institute, he achieved his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Liberty University.
He then furthered his education by attending Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and
graduating in 2020 with his doctorate in educational ministries. He started as Associate and
Youth Pastor at Church of the Living Christ in 1999. Over the seventeen years that he served in
this position, he impacted many in the congregation, encouraging them in their walk with the
Lord. In 2017, he accepted a position at Mountain View Community Church in Frederick,
Maryland, as their Family and Care Pastor. He was a great listener, role-model, and leader in the
church. He was blessed to spend the last several years travelling and making memories with
friends and family, while taking up the hobbies of beekeeping, tapping maple syrup, and
barbequing meat in his custom-made smoker.
Services and burial will be held at Church of the Living Christ of Loysville (2401 Fort
Robinson Rd. Loysville, PA 17047) on Saturday, September 14 th , 2024. Visitation will start at
1pm followed by the services at 3pm.
The family would like to thank Dr. Wilson Jackson, Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, as
well as the doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Jackson Seigelbaum Gastroenterology, Johns
Hopkins Oncology, and Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. In lieu of flowers,
donations can be made to The Bank of Landisburg, “The Adam Williams Family Account” to
support Shree and the boys moving forward. The entire family wants to thank everyone for all
the generosity, support, love, and prayers they continue to receive through this time.
