Barry Jay Deitch, 66, of Carlisle, formerly of Shermans Dale, passed away peacefully at West Shore Hospital with his sister at his side, Sunday morning May 28, 2023. Born March 22, 1957 in Mechanicsburg to the late Ada Naomi Sheaffer -Deitch and Albert Deitch. After graduating from West Perry High School, Barry went to work at C H Masland and Sons. He worked at Masland/Lear for nearly three decades

Barry was preceded in death by his sisters Cheryl Louise Deitch-Kuhn and Naomi Mae Deitch and his fur babies Black Jack and Ben Jay. He is survived by his sister Lenora S. Deitch and brother-in-law Dale E. Kuhn Sr, both of Carlisle and fur baby nieces Elsa Louise and Anna Sue.

Private services were held Wednesday, June 7 at Snyders Cemetery with immediate family only.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, "Come to Me". You will be missed my dear brother- see you on the other side.
