Betty J (Turnbaugh) Clouser

 Betty J. Clouser, 92 years old, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026 at her home in Newport. She was born June 23, 1933 in Newport to John R. and Helen (Barrick) Turnbaugh. She was a lifetime member of the Newport Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and member of the Zembo Shrine Highlanders Lassies.

  Betty was the widow of Carl R, Clouser, having been married for 69 years, and is survived by her sons Robert Clouser (Patty) and Glenn Clouser (Kaye) of Newport ; grandchildren Ashley Leonard (Ryan) and Stephanie Clouser, her faithful dog Angel and several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by brothers Harold, Merle "Gene", Robert, Carl, Kenneth, Charles, Donald, James, William and George Turnbaugh and sisters Helen Reigle and Larue Moyer.

  Services will be held Wednesday, April 22 at the David Myers Funeral Home with a viewing from 1 PM until the funeral services at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery.
