Betty was born May 4, 1943 to the late William and Helen Collins of Loysville. Betty has left her earthly duties to go to a better place and reunite with other family members and friends. She is survived by a wonderful daughter Juanita Bowser, that has made life very enjoyable over the years. Also a grandson Maverick Robinson (Skyler). Maverick was raised by Betty after his parents passed away. He was a joy. In addition, she is survived by a step daughter MaryBeth Zeigler, step sons Todd Zeigler and Michael Zeigler, grandson Shane Bankes and several other step grandchildren. Great granddaughter Rosalie Bankes. She was predeceased by two sons, Bret Zeigler and Roy Robinson.
Betty was happy when she was helping somebody else and making their life better. She loved baking and sharing her goodies with family and friends, she also loved to play bingo.
She was a lifetime member at the New Bloomfield VFW, belonged to the Millerstown Moose and the Eagles in Carlisle.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Restland Cemetery in Loysville Saturday, February 10th at noon. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the New Bloomfield VFW at 1:30.
