Carol J (Miller) Frye

Carol J (Miller) Frye,  76 years old, passed away April 3, 2023 at her residence  at the Honaman House in Thompsontown. She was born November 23, 1946 in Van Dyke to  Robert O. and M. Jane (McGowan) Miller.

She was a lifelong member of the Millerstown Moose and past member of the pool league. She volunteer for many years at the Moose as the Easter Bunny. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and doing puzzles. Some other hobbies included riding bicycle.  She enjoyed going on family vacation to Canada, fishing and visiting friends.  She was proud to have previously lived on a farm and loved all animals. She enjoyed spending time with family at reunions (playing softball) and spoiling all the nieces and nephews. She attended Skills of PA where she enjoyed making crafts and new friends.

Carol is survived by her nieces, Michelle Shearer (James) and Danielle Hubbert of Thompsontown; great-niece Heather Lowrey (Jim) and great-nephews Dustin Amrhein (Alissa) and Luke Amrhein plus many friends and extended family.

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Gloria and brother in law N. Michael Hubbert.

A Memorial Service will be held April 22 at the Honaman House Community Room at 3:00 PM.    Burial is private at the convenience of the family.
