Carole Ann Stitt, 75 years old, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at her home in Newport. She was born February 14, 1947 in Spangler, PA to Michael and Marion (Hackett) Dovci. She was a member of the Red Hill Church of God. She was retired from Giant  and loved to play bingo and cards with family.
 She is survived by her husband Kenneth Stitt; sons Kenneth Stitt Jr. (April) of Newport and Stephen Stitt (Lindsey) of Thompsontown; daughter Teresa Clouser (Craig) of Lemoyne; sister Linda Pennebaker of Burnham; grandchildren Samantha, Shelby, Taylor, Ethan, Tyler, Sadie and Levi and great grandchildren Aldo, Aaliyah and Ahmya. She was preceded in death by sisters Janet Snyder and Nancy Criswell.
  Services will be held from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a viewing on Monday, August 22  from 6-8 PM and funeral service on Tuesday at 10 AM with Pastor Mary Kay Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Juniata Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewistown
