Cynthia E. Sheaffer, 80 years old, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at her home in Millerstown. She was born August 16, 1942 in New Bloomfield to Ruth Reeder Gantt and the late Jesse E. Gantt.
She was a 1960 graduate of Newport High School. Her greatest joy was her home with friends and family.
  She is survived by her husband, Stanford  E. Sheaffer; mother Ruth Gantt; daughter Debora Roth (Thomas); son Douglas Scott Sheaffer; brothers Jesse E. and Dale A. Gantt; sister Reva Shearer; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sister Venteria Cox.
  Services will be held Thursday, Sept. 22 from the David Myers Funeral Home with a viewing from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM with the Reverend Cheryl Dorman officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Millerstown.
