Dale L "Pierre" Howell

 Dale L. "Pierre" Howell, 71 years old, of Newport, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the UPMC West Shore Hospital. He was born July 3, 1950 in Newport to Lloyd and Mary (Fawver) Howell. He was a veteran of the US Army and member of the Newport Social Order of Owls, Newport VFW and American Legion and Hunters Valley Sportsmen Aso. He enjoyed hunting and going on cruises.
  Pierre is survived by his wife, Angela Whitekettle Howell; sons Matthew (Berk) Howell of Newport and Brett Whitekettle and wife Stephanie of Sneads Ferry, NC; brothers William Howell of Florida, sister Judy Shiffer of Newport, and Joe Howell of Newport and grandchildren Noah and Ryleih Whitekettle and Madison and Allison Howell. He was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Howell.
  A visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan 19 from 5-7 PM from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport. Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family.
