Obituary

David L. Potter, 72 years old, of Centre Township, New Bloomfield, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at the UPMC West Shore Hospital. He was born October 10, 1950 to the late Ray and Doris (Stevens) Potter. He enjoyed fishing and hunting but his greatest joy was being with family. He had a passion for raising and showing poultry. He was the former owner of the Newport Ice Company.

David is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sandra; sons David Potter (Cathy) of Boise, ID and Matthew Potter (Rachel) of Landisburg; daughter Amy Clay (Gary) of Newport; sister Melinda Potter of Carlise; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brother Gary Potter and sister Gail Blomburg.
