Dena L. (Geedy) Weidenhof, 66, of Newport passed away at home with her loving family Wednesday May 28 2025. Born on May 6 1959 to the late parents of Charles F. Geedy and Nancy M. Campbell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Johnathon J. Weidenhof and stepfather Dwight Shearer.

Surviving are her husband Carl Weidenhof, daughter Carla Weidenhof (Kevin Morret), son Michael Weidenhof (Nina Lemire), sisters Laurie Dowdrick, Tammy Miller (Ivan), brothers Charles Geedy and Brian Geedy. Grandsons Devon Wilson, Tharyn Mutzabaugh (Leanne Markel), and Armani Bass. Granddaughters Sayde Weidenhof, Aaliyah Lemire, Alexia Roman and stepgrandaughters Sophia and Cece Lavarto. Niece Tessa Miller (Andy Stoychev), nephews Joe Dowdrick (Lisa) and Aiden Miller. Grandpups Rhylie, Kai, Loo, Kolt, LilyAnn and Bo, along with many other aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Dena was a hard worker who loved to provide and care for her family and friends at which she worked so many jobs to do so. She loved having friends and family come to her River House and spend weekends and sometimes weeks at a time. She loved shopping with her sisters and occasionally spending the weekend at her brother and mom's house. She loved beach and camping trips. Knobels Grove was on of her favorite family fun days in the summer. She will be missed by many.

A celebration of life will be held at Cornerstone Christian Church, 595 New Bloomfield Road, Duncannon, Saturday July 19 from 3-6 PM
