Dora S (Straley) Herman

Dora Herman, 90, of Newport, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Dora was born
August 23, 1933. She was a loving wife, mom, and grandma who loved to read, knit, and play cards.
Surviving are her son, Harold Herman Jr., of Newport; two granddaughters, Carla Orris and Sara
Harless; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Harold
“Unk” Herman and four sisters, Jeanne Cowart, Elsa Bisset, Linda McMullen, and Alana Jeffries. A
graveside service (open to the public) is being held Friday October 13, 2023 at 11am in Bucks Church
Cemetery,  In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Pa.
