Ethel P. Mowery,  93 years old, of New Bloomfield, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026 at Transitions Healthcare in Duncannon. She was born November 12, 1932 in Biglerville, PA to Clair D. and Agnes "Wetzel" Raffensperger. She was a member of the New Bloomfield United Methodist Church, the New Bloomfield Civic Club, Perry Historians and volunteer at Perry Village Nursing Home.

 Ethel was the widow of Cloyd M. Mowery and is survived by children Jeannette Frisoli (Mike), Dianne Brought (Bill), and Steven Brought (JoBeth); brothers Marlin C, Gary L. and Rev Donald Raffensperger;  grandchildren Amy Trimmer (Shawn), Jennifer Bahn, Dwight Smith (Miriam), Deanna Smith and Erik Brought (Megan),  and great grandchildren  Dylan Trimmer, Claire and Charlotte Brought.

  Services will be held Saturday, March 28 at the New Bloomfield United Methodist Church with a visitation from 11 AM until the Memorial Service at 12 PM.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the New Bloomfield UMC, Perry Historians or New Bloomfield Fire Company.
