Faylene (Carr) Kramer Obituary

Faylene Kramer, 67 , passed away February 18, 2025 at her home in Duncannon. She was a wonderful woman, born February 1, 1958 to Grace  A. and Charles S. Ulrich. Not long after birth, Faylene moved to live in the  I.O.O.F. orphanage in Sunbury, PA where she spent a brief time with her seven siblings, Amanda Ulrich, Ellen Brozana, Charles Ulrich Jr., Virginia Craig, Ellis Ulrich, Tina Comfort and Ruth Ulrich-Kline. Faylene was very cherished by her siblings who gave her the nickname Fay. Later she was adopted out to a loving family in 1970 at the age of 12. From there she grew up in Milton,PA where she attended Shamokin Area High School- graduating in 1976. Soon she left her family to start her own life at 21. She lived for a brief time with her sister, Ellen Brozana until she met the love of her life, Donald Kramer and they moved to Bozeman, Montana. While living in Montana they welcomed their first child David Carr  July 3, 1988 and soon moved back to Newport to be near family. She married as Faylene Carr to Donald Kramer in Perry County on February 6, 1993. That same year they welcomed their second child Jessica Kramer December 3, 1993. Faylene was a very loving and thoughtful mother and 16 years  after her marriage she welcomed her first grandchild, Hanna N. Carr, July 18, 2009. In coming years, she grew to have 7 grandchildren whom she loved very much- Aleah E. Kramer 2012, Makenzie R. Carr 2010, Logan A Kramer 2013, Alyson M Smith 2016, Blake E. Smith Jr. 2018 and Paige A Carr 2019. Her grandchildren gave her the nickname JJ, lovingly. Faylene enjoyed the company of her family and grandchildren for many years until she sadly left us.
