Freda A (Delancey) Taylor

Freda A. Taylor, 69, of Juniata Township, Newport, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the Holy Spirit Hospital.  She was born October 19, 1946 to George Delancey and the late Mabel (Weldon) Delancey. She enjoyed needlepointing, camping, riding 4-wheeler, playing cards and watching birds and rabbits in the yard.
  Freda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Cloyd Taylor Jr.; children, Alan Taylor (Donna), Cathleen Smith (Brian), and Audrey Stailey (Wayne); father, George Delancey; siblings, Judy Reisinger and Larry Delancey (Bonnie); 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
  Services will be held Monday from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport at 11 AM with a viewing from 10 AM until the service. Burial will follow in Snyders Cemetery, New Bloomfield.
