Gail I (Lyons) Goodling Obituary

Gail Irene Goodling, 90, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Born on August 7, 1933 to late parents Pearl and Jeremiah Lyons, Gail lived her entire life within one mile of her childhood home in Loysville, PA.

Gail enjoyed working on the farm she owned with her husband and caring for animals. She had a special place in her heart for all of God's creatures.

Gail is survived by her five children: Lou Ann Nickel (James), Karen Clark (Spencer), Brian Goodling, Susan Bell, and Marty Morrow (Steven); 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, William (Kay) and Ronald Lyons.

Gail was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter A. Goodling Jr.; her parents Jeremiah and Pearl Lyons; sisters Ruth Schreffler, Mabel Smith, Helen McMillen, Elmina Crozier; brother Glenn Lyons; and son-in-law Kendal Bell.

 She will be remembered for all the heart and love she shared with her family. When her time came, she carried herself with dignity, strength, and love for those who went before her and for those she was leaving behind. She will be missed dearly.

 A  Graveside Service will he held Tuesday, November 7 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, 5593 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville  with the public invited to attend.
