Gary R Hoffman

Gary R. Hoffman, 78 years old, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023 at his home in Millerstown. He was born June 25, 1945 to the late Delbert and Lillian Hoffman. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He graduated from Perry Joint High School in 1961. He worked for 14 years with the Philadelphia National Bank in computer operations and was an eastern regional representative for the online remote banking services. He later worked for 17 years with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as a Lan administrator and communications specialist, heading up online communication installations in Japan, Guam, Phillipines and Florida Naval bases. After EDS he was employed by the Rite Aid Corp as Lan Administrator and computer repair technician. He was a member of the Newport Assembly of God.  Gary is survived by his wife, Twila Hoffman; son Glen C. Hoffman; daughter Tawny L Rondeau; brothers Steve Hoffman and Reed Hoffman (Barbara); sister Tracey Sudia (Michael); five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 9 at 10 AM at the Newport Assembly of God Church, 253 North Sixth Street, Newport. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Penn State Health  Cancer Institute, Office of University Development, PO Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033
