George A "Butch" (Jr) Crockett Obituary

  George A. "Butch" Crockett Jr. passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at his home in Millerstown. He was born September 30, 1965 to the late George Sr. and Bonnie (Campbell) Mercado.  He was a father, brother, a devoted Pap too, this is the legacy we have from you.  He loved spending countless hours fishing on the river with pole in one hand and a small mouth bass in the other.  Butch was an avid deer hunter.  He enjoyed everything the outdoors had to offer. He loved camping and hanging out with his family.  He was known to go to the races, wrestling matches, and any activity supporting his grandkids.

  George is survived by his children Dustin Crockett (Samantha) and Kevin Crockett of Newport and Amber Crockett (Jimmy Kessler) of Millerstown; brothers, Richard Crockett (Lissa) of Mechanicsburg, Charles Crockett (Kristine) of Liverpool and Jamie Crockett (Lori) of Shippensburg and grandchildren Adian, Kaylee and Gage Crockett, April Kessler, Madison Arnold and Jimmy Kessler Jr.  Nieces Tiffany, Sierra, and Allison.  Nephews  include Chucky, Cody, and James. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.

 

A viewing will be held Saturday April 22 from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport from 10 AM until 12 PM.  Gone, but not forgottten.
