Vangie,  I am so sorry for your loss. I remember you taking me to his office when I was young and wearing the Gekas t-shirt you gave me.  I remember him walking in all the parades where my mom would yell Hi, George.  He would always smile and wave.  My fondest childhood memories are of my grandparents living next to your parents and later you and George on 25th St .  Talking out back in the yard about different things.  God Bless you.   Love always, Tracey (Nies) Guillory

Dear Vangie, George was such a good and kind man.  I have many fond memories of working on his campaign and then catching up when we would run into each other at many different places.  Pennsylvania is better because of George.  1

My condolences to Vangie and family. What I'll always remember about George Gekas is that he was a good congressman, a good man, and a gentleman of the highest character who served our nation well.

Dear Vangie, we are so sorry to hear about George's passing.  He was a very good friend of our family since 1962..  My parents John and Ruth thought the world of him, and were able to keep in touch with him from time to time.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and your family and friends.  Praying for your peace and comfort at this most difficult time.  The Keeney Family, Rich, Dennis and Jane
