George R Robinson

 George R. Robinson, 73, of New Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Premier at Perry Village in New Bloomfield. He was born December 23, 1948 in Blain, PA. He was the son of the late Ralph E. Wright Jr. and Charlotte M Robinson and the grandson of the late Lawrence A Robinson and Carrie A Smith.
George was known by many as either Beanie or Bobby. He was a West Perry graduate and worked for several years as a carpenter. He then opened Route 34 Auto Sales in New Bloomfield which he operated for nearly 35 years. Always young at heart, he had a love for antique and classic cars and enjoyed collecting Hess trucks and antique toys. He also enjoyed playing with his band, Just Country.
 He is survived by his brothers Thomas Wright of Newport and Ronald Wright of Loysville and sister Isa "Sis" Herr (Samuel) of Newport and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother John Wright and sisters Shirley Gross and Patricia Noble and longtime companion Beatie Leiter.
Services are being held from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport on Friday, October 28, 2022 with a visitation from 12 PM until the funeral service at 1 PM. Interment will follow in the Eshcol Cemetery.
