George Edward Snow II, 61 years of age, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Carolyn's House in Harrisburg. He was born August 2, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio to the late George E. Snow, who passed in 2012 and Beverly Justice, who passed in 2017. George was a 1981 graduate of Selinsgrove Area High School- Susquehanna IU unit. 30 years (Center for Industrial Training) C I.T. 1983-2013. Attended Lifetime Program 2013-2020. George lived many lifetimes in his 61 years. He was a World traveler- Hawaii (2 times) Aruba, Ireland, NY City for sightseeing, Connecticut for whale watching and Florida for Disney and Epcot Center and many years to the beaches of Delaware. George brought tremendous joy into the many lives he touched. He loved movies, shopping, traveling, participating in Special Olympics- especially basketball, eating out- most favorite, cheeseburger, french fries and coke. He very much loved being with his family.
George is survived by his Stepmother Mary Snow of Newville, Sisters: Rebecca Wetzel (Eugene) of Liverpool, Chandra Farner (James) of Mt. Holly, and Jessica Snow of Carlisle, Nephews: Ross Wetzel, Travis Wetzel, Alex Farner, Eric Farner, Benjamin Farner, and Clint Bishop. Nieces: Rachel Wetzel, Breanna Farner, and Jacqueline Bishop
George was a member of the West Shore Evangelical Free Church- "A Team" and loved their Sundays, Camps and many plays he participated in.
Graveside services are being held at the Newport Cemetery on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Noon. Officiating Pastor Dave Zimmerman, West Shore Evangelical Free Church. Family to gather afterwards for a Celebration of George's life.
