Goldie M. Roberts, 88 years old, of Tuscarora Township, Newport, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Premier at Perry Village in New Bloomfield. She was born March 2, 1935 to Frank H. and Myrtle  (Baker) Baughman. She enjoyed flower gardening, especially philodendrons. Her favorite color was lilac and she liked poodle dogs. Her  favorite time was being with her family.

  Goldie was the widow of  John Roberts and is survived by her children, Dale William Roberts  and Sandy Lightner of Newport; brother James Baughman of New Bloomfield and seven grandchildren,  fifteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

  Services will be held Wednesday, January 3 from the David Myers Funeral Home with a viewing from 1 PM until the funeral services at 2 PM. Burial will follow in the Eshcol Cemetery, Millerstown.
