H Pauline (Bretz) Campbell

H. Pauline Campbell, 82 years old, of Millerstown, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021. She was born August 16, 1938 in Newport to Walter M. and Helen (Zink) Bretz. Pauline was a graduate of the Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing then worked for 12 years for the office of Dr. Magill and Dr. Rumbaugh in Newport. She retired after 30 years as school nurse from the Newport School District. She was a member of the Carlisle Church of Christ, the PSEA and NEA.

  Pauline is survived by; her husband, Richard B. Campbell; son Mark A. Campbell of Newport; sister Nancy L. Ramp of Brownstown and grandchildren Leah, Chloe and Isaac Campbell. She was preceded in death by her son Jeffery L. Campbell.

Pauline thoroughly loved her Newfoundland’s and had a soft spot for animals of any kind, but even more so loved and enjoyed time with her grandchildren. She spent their early years reading to them on her lap, helping with home school, teaching piano, hosting tea parties, cooking and baking with them. She always enjoyed spending time with family at their cottage in Maryland making memories.

   A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, August 14 at 10 AM at the Red Hill Cemetery, Newport with Edward Dyche officiating.

  Pauline’s family would like to thank you for the prayers offered up and support and kindness through the two weeks prior to her final triumph.
