James D. Collins, 64 years old, went to be with his Lord and Savior October 27, 2022 at his home in Newport. He was born July 10, 1958 to Ruth Campbell Collins and  Albert James Collins.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Campbell Collins; mother Ruth Collins of Millerstown; sons Justin Collins of New Bloomfield and Joseph Collins of Newport; daughter Sheona Ballent of Elliottsburg; brothers Richard Collins of Mechanicsburg, Ronald Collins, Glenn Collins and Mark Collins of Millerstown; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son Jacob Collins, father Albert James Collins, step mother, Betty Collins and brother Lewis Collins and step father Lewis Regester.
Services will be held Saturday, November 5 at the Newport First Church of God with a visitation from 11 AM   until the Memorial Service at  12 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
