Obituary
James A. Kitner, 50 years old, of New Bloomfield, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 as the result of an automobile accident. He was born February 22, 1973 to the late
Lester A. and Sadie Ickes Kitner. He was a member of the New Bloomfield United Methodist Church and a graduate of West Perry High School. He was employed by theWeis Market in Newport, the Borough of New Bloomfield and Soil and Conservation Service in New Bloomfield.
James is survived by his aunt, Frances Ickes Owen and cousins Pamela Owen and Heidi Good and Scott and Richard Good. He was also preceded in death by paternal grandparents Amos and Mary Kitner; maternal grandparents William and Geraldine Ruth (Seidel) Ickes , step brother, John and uncle William Ickes Jr.., Richard Ickes and Ronald Ickes.
A Celebration of James' life will be held Sunday, May 28 at 9:50 AM at the New Bloomfield United Methodist Church with fellowship to follow the service.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday May 31 at 10:30 AM at the Snyders Cemetery, New Bloomfield
