Jamie Scott Dudley, 68, of Newport entered into Heaven on June 13, 2026 at UPMC Hospital in Harrisburg.

Eldest son of James and Mary Lou Dudley, Jamie was born on September 17, 1957. He received his GED while serving in the US Naval Forces and retired as a maintenance technician in 2015. Jamie enjoyed serving the Lord and his community by volunteering at his church and Hopeful Things of Newport. He is survived by his three children, Miranda Shaull (Adam), Julia Jacobs (Brett), and Jayden Dudley (Annie) and four grandchildren, Addison, Tristan, Lillian, and Silas. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Lou Dudley, three siblings, Jonnie Imbodin, Jeffrey Dudley (Karen) and Jennifer Treaster (Bret) as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father James Dudley and his wife Barbara Dudley.

Services  will be held Thursday, June 18 at David M. Myers Funeral Home,  Newport  with a viewing from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor Deborah Ryder officiating. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery.
