Jane L (McNaughton) Good

Jane L. Good, 93 years old, formerly of Millerstown, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Locust Grove Retirement Center in Mifflin. She was born August 19, 1923 in Millerstown to Charles and Margaret (Reeder) McNaughton. She was a member of the former St. Samuel's Lutheran Church and was an avid volunteer at Perry Village Nursing Home and dedicated caregiver to her family. She had a love for animals but her greatest joy was being with her family.
  Jane was the widow of William J. "Red" Good Jr. and is survived by her sons, Andrew V. Good (Tuk) of Barto, Pa. and  Philip K. Good (Mary)  of Newport; daughter, Suzanne G. Brofee (Robert)  of Millerstown; sister, Nancy Johnson of Newport; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Geoffrey Good and Gerald Reigle; brothers, Joseph McNaughton Sr., Ray McNaughton and Frank McNaughton; and sisters, Pearl Cauffman, Alda Gelbaugh, Thelma Curt, Clara Asper, Sarah Heim, Grace Graver, Alice Mitchell, Blanche Coble, Mary McNaughton, Viola Gintzer and Florence Smith.
  Services will be held Saturday , February 25, from the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport with a visitation from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11AM. Burial will follow in the Wila Cemetery.
  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Perry County Animal Rescue, 507 Sugar Run Road, Millerstown, Pa. 17062.
