Janice L Dissinger

Janice L. (Dennis) Dissinger, age 80, of Newport, PA, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024. She was born March 10, 1943, the daughter of the late Anna Mae (Miller) Dennis. She was also preceded in death by her husband Darwin Dissinger, son Jeffrey A, Allamon, and sister Judith  A. Dennis.

  Janice was a 1961 graduate of Hershey High School. She enjoyed knitting and dancing and appeared on American Bandstand. She loved dressing up as a clown and taking balloons to her family and friends for their birthdays. She also enjoyed collecting Native American items. Her  greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren..

  Jancie is survived by her children Deborah Huntzberger and husband Eddie and son Andrew W. Allamon; sister Paula Hostetter and husband Walter;12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren.

 Service will be held Tuesday, January 30 from the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free church, 600 Shepherd Street, Jonestown with a viewing from 11 AM until the funeral at 12 PM. Burial will follow in the Kochenderfer Cemetery, Lebanon.
