Jeanie Jolene Meissel Obituary

Jeanie Jolene Meissel, 51, of Millerstown, passed away on November 14, 2025. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and a dedicated employee of Giant, where she was known for her strong work ethic.

Jeanie lived with Down syndrome and later dementia, yet she faced every day with joy, humor, and resilience. She loved country music, dancing, Christmas shopping, and playing basketball. An avid reader, she especially enjoyed mystery and romance novels.  She was also devout in her faith, reading her Bible daily and attending church every week.

She is survived by her guardian, Ronald Wilson, and her sister of the heart, Carol Burton, along with many others whose lives were brightened by her kindness and cheerful spirit.

Jeanie will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

A Time of Remembrance will be held Monday, November 24 from 3-4 PM at the funeral home
