Jenny Lorraine Ramsey (Books), 58 years old, of New Bloomfield, passed away July 16, 2024. She was born December 14, 1965 in Marysville  to Robert and Barbara (Foust) Books. Jenny was a 1983 graduate of Susquenita High School- she had lived in Marysville, Athens, Texas and New Bloomfield. She was full of life and always put others before herself and kept her close friends very near and dear to her heart. She loved the beach, the mountains, nature, and making crafts for her family and loved ones. Her faith was very strong and held a true compassion of those around her. She will be immensely missed forever.

Jenny is survived by her husband Steven Ramsey of New Bloomfield, daughter Sarah Byerly of Duncannon, son Sean Curley of Jonestown, sisters Linda Bowles of North Port, FL, , Susan Bender of Marysville and Vonnie Conrad of Mount Joy, stepsons Steven Ramsey and wife Liz of York Haven and Christopher Ramsey and wife Shannon of Marysville, stepdaughters Andrea Ramsey of Sussex, WI and Ashley Ramsey of Shiremanstown, grandson James Byerly of Duncannon and step granddaughter Paisley Ramsey of York Haven.

A Time of Remembrance will be held Wednesday, July 24 from 6-8 PM at the David Myers Funeral Home, Newport.
