Jerome Tressler Obituary

Jerome C. Tressler, 91 years old, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Premier at Perry Village. He was born January 5, 1929 in Wila to Delbert and Anna (Bixler) Tressler. He was a member of the Hope Eternal Church, Newport and enjoyed fishing, hunting and wood working.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Resta Tressler and is survived by his sons, Dennis W. Tressler (Peg) and Carl E. Tressler (Corina); daughters, Lynda Martin and Ruth Harper (Jim); brother, John G. Tressler, all of Newport; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Robert, Max, Roy, Paul and Ralph Tressler and sister, Verna Asper.
Due to COVID, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
