Jerry A Bierma

 Jerry A. Bierma, 61 years old, of Watts Township, Duncannon, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at the UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. He was born July 16, 1960 in Sioux Center, Iowa to Carl and Lynn Dethmers Bierma. 
He was a member of the New Harvest Community Church, Millerstown. 
Jerry enjoyed vacationing in Vermont with Patty, day trips, golfing, sprint car racing, visiting friends and family, sitting around the fire pit sipping wine, reading, doing puzzle books, he loved cards and board games. 
He was an avid Iowa State Cyclones fan and loved working at Clarks Ferry Sheetz where people there were like his second family. He won numerous awards while he worked for Schwanns. 
Jerry is survived by his wife, Patricia Raudensky Bierma; son, Thomas Bierma and wife Betsey of Paxtang; daughter, Katie Wirt and husband Eric of Thompsontown; step daughters,  Allison Miller and husband Robert of Shirleysburg and Vanessa Conner and husband Adam of Lothair, Mt; brother Paul Bierma and wife Marilyn; brother in law John Raudensky and partner Barb of Watts Township, sister in law Shelby Joyce and husband John of Harrisburg sister in law Vanessa Bierma of Colorado and grandchildren Hannah, Haylee, Seth, Colby, Baer and Oliver. Numerous nieces and nephews. His parents and brother Michael Bierma preceded him. 
  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 28, at the New Harvest Community Church, 527 Maple Street, Millerstown at 11 AM with a time for visitation from 10 AM until the service.
