John Miller Obituary


John R. Miller, 66, of Liverpool, passed away on Thursday, December 23,
2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville with his loving wife Crystal
Ehrenzeller-Miller at his side.

Born June 19, 1955 in Shamokin, Northumberland County, he was the son of
the late Kenneth H. and Anna Mae (Renn) Miller.

In 1994, he met his surviving wife Crystal and they were married June 6,
1997 sharing a blessed 27 years together.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by: sister Sandy Evans of
Douglasville, PA, and her children Mark Evans, Mike Evans and his wife
Alicia, and Sharon Magee and her husband Brian; and brother-in-law Steve
Ehrenzeller of McAlisterville, PA and his wife Penny and their children
Dexter Ehrenzeller and his wife Lena and Clarissa Goodling and her
husband Mitch. He was preceded in death by his nephew Shawn Evans.    He
was also blessed with 6 great nieces and nephews and 2 great-great
nieces and nephews.

He was a 1972 graduate of Dauphin County Vocational school of Technology
and started at the ground level at AMP Incorporated that same year.  He
retired from AMP 27 years later under the engineering department in
research and development .  John enjoyed camping, hiking, reading and
learning! However, his two passions in life were Ham Radio and Flying
his 1946 Piper Cub airplane.

John was first licensed in 1970 as WA3OVD and in the late 1980s became
well known as WN3V.  Morse code was a passion at which he mastered at a
very young age.

He loved giving children rides in his Piper Cub (cubby) airplane and
having fly-in cookouts at local grass strips for the pilots area.

John was a member of the AOPA, NRA, Williamsport chapter of the QBs, and
Viper Owners Association.
Services will be held Sunday, January 30 at the Newport Family Life Center, 27
West Shortcut Road, Newport, PA with a visitation from 1 PM until the Time of
Remembrance at 3 PM
