John L. Yohe Sr., 64 years old, of Newport, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg. He was born February 16, 1961 to the late Betty Fry and Gordon Yohe.

John loved hunting, fishing and working as a local painter. He loved being with his kids, grandkids and family.

He is survived by his children Melissa A. Yohe and John L. Yohe; sisters  April Yohe, Michelle Yohe and Julie Spickler;  and six grandchildren Devon, Tyra, Tamara, Tristan, Shanley and Olivia and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers Anthony Yohe and Gordon Yohe Sr.

A Celebration of his life will be held October 18 at 12 PM at the East Newport Playground on South Third Street.
