Joyce C (Wilt) Mullen

Joyce C. Mullen, 79 years old, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 24, 2023 at her home in Newport. She was born April 5, 1943 to the late Robert and Ruth (Greaney) Wilt. She was a member of Hilltop Christian Church, she loved animals and living on her farm, she hosted children from the Fresh Air Fund, she enjoyed watching Judge Judy, Days of our Lives, the Boston Redsox, and the Philadelphia Eagles. She also had a passion for sewing.                                                                                                                                                                                          Joyce was the widow of Roy Mullen Jr and is survived by her children; Leilani Mullen of Puerto Rico, Tracy Mullen-Hoon of Enola, Kelly Popwell of Fairfax, VA, Steven Mullen of Harrisburg, Corey Mullen of Duncannon, Natalie Mullen of Harrisburg, Kevin Mullen of Newport, and Karen Mullen of Newport; sisters Brenda Liddick of Landisburg, Barbara Roush of Carlisle, Bonita Little of Watsontown, Sandra Potter of New Bloomfield, and Linda Liddick of Duncannon; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by grandson Roy Daniel Mullen.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 11:00am, at Hilltop Christian Church, 721 Hillcrest Drive, Newport, PA. Pastor Jim Penica will be officiating. A visitation will be from 10:00 until the time of service.
