Judy A. Clay, 76 years old, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at her home in New Bloomfield. She was born August 26, 1947 to the late Mary Katherine Baker Bower and David Bower. She was a member of the Newport First Church of God and a 1965 graduate of Newport High School. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.  She regularly attended sporting events and concerts that her grandchildren and great grandchildren were involved in.

  Judy was the widow of Earl Clay and is survived by her children Corey Britcher (Jennifer) of Shippensburg, Jeff Britcher (Della) of Newport, Dale Clay (Liliana) of Quinton, VA, David Clay of Millerstown and Susan Comp (Craig) of Newport; brothers Rodney F Bower (Laurie) of Newport and David K Bower of Newport; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

  Services will be held Sunday, November 5 at the Newport Family Life Center,  27 West Shortcut Road, Newport with a visitation from 1 PM until the Celebration of Life Service at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
