Keith R Snyder

Keith R. Snyder, 76, of Newport, passed away on October 12, 2022 at UPMC West Shore Hospital. He was born in Newport and was the son of the late Harry and Anna Snyder. Keith was a 1964 graduate of Newport High School and went on to attend college at Shippensburg University. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He served honorably from 1966-1969 earning a meritorious unit citation and Vietnam campaign medal. Keith was a retired electrician and member of the IBEW. His greatest joy was his family. He loved having his grandchildren surround him and watching their sporting events. He spent many years enjoying breakfast at Bitting's restaurant with his friends. He was a long time Penn State football season ticket holder and an avid fan of the Phillies and Eagles. He took great pride in gardening around his home. Keith is survived by his wife of 44 years, Teresa; son, Marc; daughters, Christa and Heather; grandchildren,  Evan, Kendall, Audrey and Lindsey Snyder; Jonah, Naia, and Tai Caudle, June and Jay Shymanski and Ethan Finney. Private services with full military honors will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, PA.
