Kirk Allen Hetrick

Kirk Allen Hetrick, 57 of Newport, made his peaceful journey from this world on May 1, 2022.  He was born October 3, 1964 to Mary Saylor Hetrick and the late Carl Hetrick. He was a proud army veteran and was employed by Hershey Creamery. He lived a wonderful life on his own terms, and was devoted to his loved ones.  

He is survived by his significant other, Sally Troutman, her daughter Maggie Kaufman (Trevor) and their beloved grandchildren, Stella, Sully, and Vera; his adored mother Mary Hetrick, of Newport, his sisters Teresa Fosselman (Michael) of Florida, Mischelle Hoy (Bill) of Mechanicsburg , Carla Smith (Bryon) of New Bloomfield, and a brother Bill Hetrick of Newport, his nieces and nephews Nanette Blake, Justina Letnauchyn, Jason Hoy, Heather Reed, Courtney Smith, Nicholas Hetrick, and Samantha Hetrick. 

Services will be held Thursday, May 5 from the David M Myers Funeral Home with a viewing from 10 AM until the funeral services at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Newport Cemetery.
