Lynn Gilligan Everhart died at her home in Camp Hill on Sunday January 15, 2023 surrounded by her husband and son after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 14, 1949 in Abilene, TX to Crawford and Ora Mae Gilligan.  Lynn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wilson C. Everhart, Jr., her son Wilson III, his wife Sarah, and her grandchildren Christian and Campbell.  She was predeceased by her son, Michael.
Lynn was a graduate of the Northfield School for Girls and Thomas Edison College, and she earned her M.A. in Developmental Psychology at the University of Texas at Dallas.  As an educator and program director, she was committed to the protection and care of children.
A Memorial  Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 28th at St. Stephen's Episcopal Cathedral, 211 North Front St., Harrisburg, PA. The family will receive visitors beginning at 10am at the Cathedral.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to St. Stephen's Episcopal School, 215 North Front St., Harrisburg, PA 17101 or to the charity of one's choice
